The Darklife Radio Show is an open uncensored live local radio program for those in the Wisconsin (USA) area. Currently broadcasted on FR96 stations 96.9FM (night) and 1010AM (day).

History goes that a guy named Ken wanted to build his own radio station. Even in his youth he was very interested in radio electronics so one day he started building radio transmitters and soon enough figured out a way to get on his friends radio sets.

Luckly he got his first real part 15 FM Stereo broadcast transmitter and got an actual tower put up with a good antenna. Not long after that he decided to crank up the power enough to cover the whole town when he feels the need.

Then the broadcasts started. Ken decided it would be a good idea to put the shows on at night when most of his friends were awake. Starting the first shows with heavy metal music and weird sound effects got a lot of people interested in listening to it. Then the guests came. Within the first few weeks of broadcasting Ken interviewed a local band, had friends on the air, talked to random people on the phone over the air and everything was done live on the spot.

Ken needed a name for the radio show so he decided to use his online name "darklife" and named the show "The Darklife Radio Show" which suited it well since the show is ran during the night hours and the music and talk is sometimes dark. Also the station needed some simple way to identify itself and since legally it can't use actual call letters he decided to go with "FR96".

Darklife (Ken) then created the very first myspace page for radio broadcasting which includes a broadcast schedule, news, comments, and even a blog on the radio stations progress.

The Darklife Radio Show starts its nightly broadcasts (on 96.9 FM) at 10Pm and goes well into the early morning.
