The 1-150th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB) is a split unit comprised of the Headquarters, Alpha Company, and Charlie Company based in Trenton New Jersey on the Trenton-Mercer Airport, while Bravo Company and Detachment 1 Charlie Company based out of the New Castle County Airport in Delaware. The 1-150th GSAB was alerted in May of 2004 for support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The soldiers in the 1-150th GSAB served distinctivly during the 18 month deployment supporting the 42nd Infantry Division commander and the surrounding Forward Operating Bases, providing C&C and troop support missions. They arrived on US soil in November of 2005.
