100 Greatest One-hit Wonders

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

100 Greatest One-hit Wonders was a music countdown special (hosted by William Shatner) that premiered on VH1 in 2002 to salute the chart toppers who had only one hit single in the US charts; many of these artists had additional successes internationally, e.g. on the UK charts. Also, as indicated, several of these artists were technically not one-hit wonders, in that they had multiple singles that reached the top 40, but are either best remembered for their biggest hit, had hits in their native country but not the US, or had follow ups that charted but never came close to the success of their biggest hit.
