The 2004 Baqubah bombing was a suicide attack on a police station in Baqubah, Iraq on July 28, 2004. Civilians were queuing up to join the police force moments before the car bomb crashed into the crowd. A minibus was also caught up in the blast as it drove past, its 21 passengers and driver were killed. In all, 68 people died.
