ARTnews (originally published as American Art News) is an art magazine, founded in 1902 and claiming a circulation of more than 200,000. The current editor and publisher is Milton Esterow.[1]

ARTnews won third place in the National Headliner Awards's Magazine category for "Coverage of a Major News Event or Topic" in 1997 for a story on Russian avant-garde art.[2] It won the National Magazine Awards' General Excellence category for a magazine with a circulation under 100,000 in 1981; it was the first fine arts magazine to do so.[3]
