Abbey Konowitch is currently General Manager of Hollywood Records. Before joining MCA, Abbey was General Manager at Maverick Records. The jewel in his crown was Alanis Morissette, whom he developed and marketed into a worldwide celebrity.

Before launching his career within labels, Abbey was employed by MTV as its Senior Vice President of Music & Talent.

In his current role, Abbey has worked to create and cultivate a roster of pop and rock stars.

In July 2006, former executive assistant Gina Wagschal Izad filed a lawsuit accusing Konowitch of sexual harassment.^[1]
