Adam Scott Bostick (born March 17, 1983, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania) is an American left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball. He currently plays for the AAA affiliate of the New York Mets, the New Orleans Zephyrs.[1]

Bostick graduated from Greensburg-Salem High School of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.[2]

Bostick was drafted out of high school by the Florida Marlins in the sixth round of the 2001 draft. His contract was worth $150,000.[3] In 2002 he had season ending surgery to transpose a nerve in his elbow. After returning in 2004, Bostick was used exclusively as a starting pitcher in the Marlins minor league system.[4]

On November 20, 2006 the New York Mets acquired Bostick and left-handed pitcher Jason Vargas from the Florida Marlins in exchange for right handed pitchers Henry Owens and Matt Lindstrom.[5]

Bostick was optioned to the New York Mets AAA affiliate, the New Orleans Zephyrs on 8 March, 2007.[1]
