In the fictional Gundam Universe, Admiral Tianem is an Earth Federation Space Force Commander responsible for the 4th fleet. During Operation British, Tianem's fleet engaged the Zeon colony escort fleets in an effort to prevent the colony drop, which resulted in the loss of about 70% of his fleet.
Tianem was in charge of deploying and firing the Federation secret weapon Solar System during the Battle of Solomon which successfully breach the fortress's exterior defence. Admiral Tianem's flagship was the Titan, which was sunk by Dozle Zabi's mobile armor Big Zam, presumably killing Tianem.
A few decades after his death, the name Admiral Tianem was given to a Ra Cailum class battleship to honor Tianem.
