Adrienne Corri

Adrienne Corri (born on 13 November 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland) is an actress of Italian parentage.
She is probably best known for her role as the rape victim Mrs Alexander in the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. And for her appearance as Valerie in Jean Renoir's The River in 1951. She appeared in many horror and suspense films in the 1950's until the 1970's including Devil Girl from Mars, The Tell-Tale Heart, A Study in Terror and Vampire Circus.
Her numerous television credits include regular roles in A Family At War and You're Only Young Twice; and she appeared as Mena in the Doctor Who story The Leisure Hive.
She has also appeared on stage. According to critic Michael Billington, Corri responded with her own abuse when the audience booed on the first night of John Osborne's The World Of Paul Slickey: she raised two fingers to the audience and shouted "Go, f**k yourselves."' [1]
She has married and divorced twice, to the actors Daniel Massey (1961-1967) and Derek Fowlds
