Adventures in Modern Recording is the second and last record from the British synth-pop duo The Buggles. Made one year after their stint as members of Yes, the album contains nine tracks, including a stripped-down version of Yes's "Into the Lens", here entitled, "I Am A Camera". The album contained no hits, and the Buggles broke up a short time later, with Geoff Downes joining band Asia and Trevor Horn becoming a producer. The album is tentatively planned to be reissued worldwide on ZTT Records in 2007.

In the title track, Trevor Horn starts the song with a live audience effect and is heard to be saying something. It sounds like "Are we rocking tonight, Houston?", but it is too unclear to be sure.
