The term aether, æther or ether may refer to one of the following.

  • The original meaning: Aether (mythology), the personification of the "upper sky", space and heaven, in Greek mythology.

  • Etheric plane, in some esoteric teachings, one of planes of existence
  • Etheric body, in some esoteric teachings, a sort of aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body

  • Aether, the setting for Retro Studios' Metroid Prime 2: Echoes game for the Nintendo GameCube
  • Aether in the Nintendo GameCube game Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, a skill learned by Ike, the main character, which allows him to inflict massive damage upon an opponent as well as healing himself. Ike learns this skill through an item called "The Occult".
  • Ether, an item to restore MP in the series Final Fantasy as well as in many other RPGs. In Pokémon, ether is an item that restores PP to pokémon moves.
