Air Aruba was the main air carrier from the island of Aruba.

Set up soon after Aruba's separation from the Netherlands Antilles, Air Aruba became a major competitor of Air ALM, offering DC-9 and MD-90 jet flights through out the Caribbean and Miami International Airport.

Air Aruba's fleet consisted of the YS11, Embraer 110, DC-9, MD-88, MD-90, Boeing 737-300, Boeing 767-200, Boeing 767-300ER and the Boeing 757-200.
The rising cost of operations and bad management caused Air Aruba to file bankruptcy in 2000.
