Alan Lowing

Alan Lowing (born 7 January 1988) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Rangers.
A product of Murray Park, Lowing plays as a right full back. He made his first team debut on 20 September 2005 in a CIS Cup match against Clyde at Ibrox. He played the full 120 minutes as Rangers won 5-2 (aet). His first league appearance for the Gers was on 1 October 2005. He replaced Barry Ferguson and played the final 13 minutes in Rangers 5-1 win over Dunfermline. He made his second start in an SPL game against Dundee United on December 31st and was used as a second half substitute in the 5-0 win over Peterhead in the third round of the Scottish Cup. However, the return of Alan Hutton and injury kept Lowing out of both the reserve and full team for the remainder of the 2005/06 season. Lowing made his full European debut against Partizan Belgrade at Ibrox on the 14th of December 2006, and made some good clearances and was also well composed on the ball
Lowing is currently a member of the Scotland Under 18 Squad. He was recently drafted into the Scotland Under 20 World Cup Squad, hosted in Canada, after some injuries to intially selected squad.

Lowing returned to the squad in December 2006, being an used substitute, in the 1-0 defeat to Falkirk.
