"Alarm Call" was the fourth single to be taken from Björk's third studio album Homogenic. It peaked at number thirty-three in the U.K.
The music video was directed by fashion designer Alexander McQueen. It features Björk floating on a raft on a river in a jungle and her scenes are intercut with footage of snakes, crocodiles, and other animals.
