Alex Hammond

Alex Hammond (born 13 May 1974 in Sheffield, England) is a British television reporter and presenter on Sky Sports News, where she has worked since June 2003.

She began her working life in the pedigree department of one of the top thoroughbred studs in the United Kingdom, as an assistant. She then moved on to become a secretary and work rider for Jack and Lynda Ramsden in Yorkshire. Progressing into the world of media, she became presenter of The Racing Channel and also presented a racing show on Talksport radio.

Alex has also written columns for the Daily Mail [1].

Since working for Sky Sports she has interviewed figureheads including Sir Alex Ferguson, Frankie Dettori, Pat Eddery and Sir Bobby Robson [2].
