All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final 2006
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final 2006 was the final and deciding match of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2006. It took place on Sunday, 3 September 2006 at Croke Park in Dublin and saw the 2003 final winners, Kilkenny, beat reigning champions Cork. While in recent years the All-Ireland final has been held on the second Sunday in September, the 2006 final was held a week earlier than normal in order to avoid a clash with golf's Ryder Cup.
