All India Radio (band)

All India Radio are an Australian electronic band. The music is lo-fi, down tempo and instrumental. Part live band, part studio-based project, All India Radio have released 5 albums: The Inevitable (2000), 002 (2001), All India Radio (2003), Permanent Evolutions (2005), and "Echo Other" (2006). The albums have been warmly received all around the world particularly France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland where they charted on the alternative and dance radio charts. All India Radio was nominated for an ARIA award in 2003.

The band are very active in film and TV. Recent credits include the Warner TV series One Tree Hill, Canadian feature film Oblivion, plus work for Foxtel, ABC TV & SBS Television.

A new album, featuring singer Leona Prue, is in production now and is scheduled for release in early 2008.
