Alliance of Non-Aligned Universities
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Alliance of Non-Aligned Universities was formed to lobby on research funding and other higher education issues. The alliance was convened by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Portsmouth, Professor John Craven, on 03 May 2006.
The Alliance, which has 17 members, is composed of universities who are not members of the other three main university lobbying groups: the Russell Group; the 1994 Group or the Campaigning for Mainstream Universities (CMU) group.
