Amaechi Igwe (born May 20, 1988, in Belmont, California) is an American soccer player who currently plays for the New England Revolution in MLS.
Igwe was drafted in the 1st round, 12th overall in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft by the New England Revolution, out of Santa Clara University. At Santa Clara, Igwe played forward and scored five goals and had three assists to finish third on the team in scoring.
Igwe has represented the United States at the youth international level, and helped the US Under-20's qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2007, being held in Canada.
