Amanda Noel Pelletier is a beauty queen from Vassalboro, Maine who will compete in the Miss Teen USA pageant in 2007.
Pelletier won the Miss Maine Teen USA 2007 title in a state pageant held in November 2006. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Donna Schlieper. Her "sister" 2007 titleholder is Erin Good, Miss Maine USA 2007. Pelletier will represent Maine in the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant broadcast live from an as-yet unannounced location in August 2007.
This was Pelletier's second attempt at the title, as she was a semi-finalist in the 2006 event. She also competed in the Miss Maine's Outstanding Teen pageant earlier in 2006.[1]
Pelletier created her own non-profit organisation, "Angels in Your Community", which offers volunteer roles for teens wishing to become involved with charitable events. She has also started running similar orgnaizations in Florida, Virginia and Minnesota.[2]
