Ampang Park Shopping Complex

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ampang Park is a Malaysian shopping complex located near Suria KLCC, in Kuala Lumpur.

The complex is accessible with the Putra LRT (Kelana Jaya Line) via the Ampang Park station, which is located after the KLCC Station. The train station is located opposite the shopping complex. Ampang Park is located at Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, not to be confused by Ampang, Selangor.

Ampang Park is on the northern outskirts of the Golden Triangle and has clothes and jewellery shops, and money changers offering very competitive rates. It's linked by a pedestrian bridge to the upmarket City Square shopping complex at Jalan Tun Razak, which has interesting interior-design stores and art galleries. It also houses many shops dealing in electrical and electronic equipment.

The shopping complex was featured in the third season of The Amazing Race as a location that contestants must reach (specifically, a photography shop known as "Citifoto") to develop photographs of the Petronas Twin Towers. Teams had a hard time finding this shopping mall, so they asked local Malaysians to help them to get there.
