Wiang Sa (Thai: เวียงสา) is a district (Amphoe) in the central part of Nan Province, northern Thailand.

Neighboring are from the south clockwise Na Noi of Nan Province, Rong Kwang, Song of Phrae Province, Ban Luang, Mueang Nan, Phu Phiang and Mae Charim of Nan Province again. And to the east it borders Xaignabouli Province of Laos.
Originally named Phun Yuen (บุญยืน), it was renamed to Sa (สา) in 1939.[1] The district was renamed to Wiang Sa on January 23 1986.[2]
The district is subdivided into 17 subdistricts (tambon), which are further subdivided into 126 villages (muban). Klang Wiang is a township (thesaban tambon) and covers parts of tambon Klang Wiang. There are further 15 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
