Anandabazar is considered by many to be the most popular Bengali newspaper in India. In addition its editions have a special supplement for the particular place from which the edition is published e.g. "Kolkata" for the Kolkata edition. Presently, the newspaper is edited by Mr Abheek Sarkar.
