Anthony Roberson (born February 14, 1983, in Saginaw, Michigan) is an American professional basketball player formerly of the NBA's Golden State Warriors. He spent part of the 2006-07 season with the Warriors before being waived in early January 2007.[1]
A 6'2" point guard, Roberson attended the University of Florida. Undrafted, he signed with the Memphis Grizzlies in August 2005. Throughout the 2005-06 NBA season, he split his time between the Grizzlies and the Arkansas RimRockers, the Grizzlies' D-League affiliate. In October 2006 he was was signed by Golden State to be evaluated during training camp.
His cousin, Terrance Roberson, played for the Charlotte Hornets in 2000.
His little cousin, Candist Wheeler a 14 year old female plays for her middle school team and looks up to her cousin for getting as far as he has gotten today
