He is Greek Cypriot on his father's side and Jewish on his mother's; he has as a sister called Natalie and a brother called Louis. His ex-fiancée Lucy Bolster gave birth to his first child Emilie on 10 March 2004 at 1.15 AM GMT. Emilie weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces at birth.

In 2004, Costa, along with singer Peter Andre, was given the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister Tony Blair at the celebrations on the arrival of ten new members into the European Union which also included Cyprus. He was a contestant on the 2005 series of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! and was evicted from the programme on 3 December 2005 after 14 days.

Costa released his first solo single called, "Do You Ever Think of Me" in February 2006. The single made its debut at #19 on the UK Singles Chart. He went on to compete in the 2006 Making Your Mind Up programme to find a competitor to represent the UK in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, but did not win the honour, with "It's a Beautiful Thing".

Costa's debut album, Heart Full of Soul was released on 3 July 2006 in the UK and Ireland. The album failed to chart, and since that, he has been dropped by his record label, Globe Records UK, due to the disappointing chart positions.

From 10 April 2006, Costa played the lead role of Mickey Johnstone in the London production of the long-running musical Blood Brothers, directed and produced by Bill Kenwright; his contract ran to February 2007. From March, Costa then toured the UK in the 10th anniversary tour of Boogie Nights. He's also doing modeling for Giorgio Armani which is due to be showcased in late 2008.

In November 2006, it was announced that Costa and his longterm girlfriend, Adele Silva, had separated as she is in Yorkshire, filming the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, while he is down in London.

Antony Costa will be doing his first solo-UK tour in February and March 2008, performing songs from his debut-album, along with new songs, some of them to be included on his second album, to be released sometime in 2008 [1].

His UK tour has 18 dates, and it will start on February 16, 2008 at The Brindley, in Runcorn, England; and will finish on March 26, 2008 in Barrow in Furness, England.
