Genesis of Apocryphal Desire is a compilation album of the Greek black metal band Varathron. It was released in 1997 and re-issued in 2004 by Cursed Productions. It consists of several demos and some unreleased songs. The 2004 edition also contains the One Step beyond Dreams EP.
