Arab Champions League

The Arab Champions League (Arabic: دوري أبطال العرب) is a football (soccer) tournament for clubs in the Arab world, inspired by the UEFA Champions League.
It was first known as the Arab Club Champions Cup, and established in 1982. In 2001 it was merged with the Arab Cup Winners' Cup to form the new Prince Faysal bin Fahad Tournament for Arab Clubs, named after Faysal bin Fahad. Since the 2003/04 season it is known under its current name.
