Armed and Dangerous is the name of Anthrax's first EP. The album was released in February of 1985 by Megaforce Records. The band produced the album alone, which was released as a double album (along with Fistful of Metal) in Germany in 2000. This was the first Anthrax release to feature Joey Belladonna on vocals.
The album also includes the songs "Soldiers of Metal" and "Howling Furies" as its last two tracks. The line-up for those two tracks is Neil Turbin, Scott Ian, Dan Spitz, Dan Lilker and Charlie Benante.
The song "Armed and Dangerous" also appears on the Spreading the Disease album.
The song God Save the Queen was originally recorded by the Sex Pistols on the Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols album.
- "Armed and Dangerous" [Studio] (Neil Turbin) – 6:07
- "Raise Hell" [Studio] (Joey Belladonna, Dan Spitz, Scott Ian, Frank Bello, Charlie Benante) – 4:03
- "God Save the Queen" [Studio-non lp] (Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock, Paul Cook) – 3:02
- Sex Pistols Cover
- "Metal Thrashing Mad" [Live] (Turbin, Spitz, Ian, Danny Lilker, Benante) – 2:51

* These two tracks were added on the CD issue of the album. They originally featured on a single before the release of Fistful of Metal and sound rawer than their equivalents on that album.
