Artemis Fowl (film)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Artemis Fowl is an upcoming 2008 fantasy film based on the novel of the same name. The director of the project is currently unclear. In a previous interview at eoincolfer.com, author Eoin Colfer stated that he had a director for the film, but this was later proven to be false. Though it is known that the film will be produced by Mirmax studios.

The author had expressed his desire for Artemis to be strictly Irish and his wishes were to be fulfilled under the direction he chose. As the director was proven false, however, the question is still open as to whether Artemis will be Irish.
