- In reference to human-shaped toys, particularly action figures, "points of articulation" refers to how many movable or repositionable parts the toy has. The more points of articulation a human-shaped toy has, the more realistically the toy can be posed.
- In accounting:
- Articulation in accounting is the interrelation between the elements of the two groups of accounts; real/permanent accounts (Balance Sheet accounts) and nominal/temporary accounts (income statement accounts). The interrelation means that the elements of the real accounts are affected by the changes in the elements of the nominal accounts. At a point of time the real accounts are a cumulative effect of the changes in the nominal accounts.
