NASA's Astronaut Group 5 (the 'Original 19') selected by NASA in April 1966.

First joint US-USSR mission. Flew on Apollo-Soyuz, STS-5, STS-41-B, and STS-35. Selected in 1973 to fly on Skylab Rescue if necessary; that mission was not flown.
Lunar Module Pilot, fifth manned lunar landing. Tenth man to walk on the moon. Flew on Apollo 16.
Command Module Pilot, last manned lunar landing. Flew on Apollo 17.
Lunar Module Pilot, aborted lunar landing. Flew on Apollo 13 and Shuttle Enterprise for Shuttle Approach and Landing Tests (ALT)
Lunar Module Pilot, fourth manned lunar landing. Eighth man to walk on the moon. Flew on Apollo 15.
Physicist. Most sources indicate he was a candidate for the cancelled Apollo 21. Selected in 1973 to fly on Skylab Rescue if necessary; the mission was never flown. Finally flew on STS-51-B in 1985, having waited 19 years, longer than any other American astronaut, to fly his first mission.
