Audi Q5
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Audi Q5 is a crossover SUV based on Audi's A4 compact car. It will be offered for sale about 2008. As Audi's first crossover SUV, it will be the second Audi model in the "Q" range, after the full-size truck-based Q7, and will compete with the Land Rover Freelander or LR2, BMW X3, Lexus RX and Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class and also the Volvo XC60.
The new vehicle will be built in Audi's home town of Ingolstadt. It will need an investment of about $400 million in production tooling and expansion.
