Augustine Eguavoen

Augustine Eguavoen (born August 19, 1965 in Benin City, Nigeria) is the former caretaker coach of the Nigerian national football team (the Super Eagles).
Eguavoen was a member of the Nigerian squad that qualified for the country's first ever World Cup and won the African Nations Cup in the same year.
Eguavoen was appointed the caretaker coach of Nigeria in June 2005 with his coaching staff including Samson Siasia, Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu. He is expected to be appointed as assistant to new coach Berti Vogts.
