Avis Budget Group

Avis Budget Group (NYSE: CAR), was founded in 2006 as the successor company to Cendant Corporation. It's headquarters are located in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Following the decision to dissolve the Cendant company name and split into 4 separate companies, the vehicle rental division of Cendant became Avis Budget Group.

The company owns Avis Rent A Car System, Budget Rent a Car System and Budget Truck Rental, which accounts for approximately 60%, 30% and 10% of their annual revenue, resepctively. [1]
