BBC Radio Wiltshire is the BBC Local Radio service for the English county of Wiltshire. It was created in 2002 when the former BBC Wiltshire Sound was split into two separate stations. Its format is a mixture of news, information and music. The station was virtually relaunched with a completely new schedule in October 2007.

BBC Wiltshire Sound began on April 4, 1989. The early logo of the station featured the White Horse at Westbury.
On November 11, 2002, the station was split into two separate services: BBC Radio Swindon, covering the town and surrounding areas, and BBC Radio Wiltshire for the rest of the county. Originally the two stations had their own distinct programmes for most of the day, but by 2007 only the Breakfast shows were separate.
BBC Radio Wiltshire broadcasts from its studios in Swindon on 103.5 (Newton Barrow, near A360, 5 miles north-west of Salisbury), 104.3 (Naish Hill, near A342 4 miles west of Calne which is for west Wiltshire), 104.9 (Marlborough for east Wiltshire) FM; 1332 (Lacock, near A350, 4 miles south of Chippenham) and 1368 (Old Town, Swindon, near B4006) AM; DAB and via Real Player on the website.
The strongest signal is on 103.5FM around Salisbury, which can also be heard in south-west Hampshire around Winchester. Most of the frequencies cannot be heard outside of the county. Marlborough also carries GWR FM Wiltshire on 96.5FM. Naish Hill carries GWR on 102.2FM.
The station is also carried on the NOW Wiltshire DAB Digital Radio multiplex.
On October 1st 2007, BBC Radio Wiltshire introduced a new schedule. All daytime programmes remain shared with BBC Radio Swindon, with the exception of Breakfast, presented by Graham Seaman. The rest of the daytime schedule is: 9am Olly Dearden; 12 noon Mark O'Donnell; 2pm Jill Misson; and 4pm Matthew Smith & Tory Maurice. In the evening it shares programming with other BBC local radio stations in the south-west of England. Overnight the station's frequency is used to re-broadcast BBC Radio Five Live. Jingles are provided by Bespoke Music of Penryn in Cornwall, and are the same as Radio Derby.
