Banks Broadcasting

Banks Broadcasting is a minority-owned broadcasting company which owns two television stations in the western United States. 50% of the company is owned by LIN TV, a large group broadcaster with clusters in the Northeast and Midwest and scattered stations elsewhere.
The President and CEO of Banks Broadcasting is Lyle Banks, who has formerly served as General Manager of WMAQ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Chicago. Banks Broadcasting is based in Winnetka, Illinois.

*In March 2007, Schurz Communications, owners of local CBS affiliate KWCH, announced the pending acquisition of KSCW from Banks Broadcasting. The acquisition is pending FCC approval. [1] [2]
