Baqa-Jatt is a city in the Haifa District of Israel. It is the result of the union of the city Baqa al-Gharbiyye and the local council Jatt in 2003.

According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Baqa-Jatt had a population of 30,200 at the end of 2004. Its jurisdiction is 18,100 dunams (18.1 km²).

According to CBS, in 2001 the ethnic makeup of the city was entirely Arab, with no Jewish population at all, with some European and foreign exceptions.

According to CBS the population of the city was spread out with 48.6% 19 years of age or younger, 18.4% between 20 and 29, 18.9% between 30 and 44, 9.5% from 45 to 59, 1.8% from 60 to 64, and 2.8% 65 years of age or older. The population growth rate in 2001 was 3.1%.

According to CBS, there are 13 schools and 5,200 students in the city. They are spread out as seven elementary schools and 2,639 elementary school students, and other 1,901 students in three junior high schools and three high schools. 49.6% of 12th grade students were entitled to a matriculation certificate in 2001.

According to CBS, as of 2000, in the city there were 4,016 salaried workers and 518 are self-employed. The mean monthly wage in 2000 for a salaried worker in the city is ILS 3,415, a real change of -2.3% over the course of 2000. Salaried males have a mean monthly wage of ILS 4,110 (a real change of 0.2%) versus ILS 1,660 for females (a real change of -20.5%). The mean income for the self-employed is 4,993. There are 338 people who receive unemployment benefits and 1,520 people who receive an income guarantee.
