Basic Research
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Basic Research is an herbal supplement and cosmetics manufacturer based in Salt Lake City, Utah that distributes products through a large number of subsidiaries. The company markets their supplements on American late night television commercials and on the Internet. In addition, their products are sold domestically and internationally through a number of high-end retailers.[citation needed] They operate websites under several different names.
Several products manufactured by Basic Research, such as Relacore and Strivectin-SD have come under scrutiny by the FDA for making claims that cannot be substantiated or that would place the product under FDA regulation as a controlled substance[1] [2].
