Batavia may refer to:
- Batavia (Roman), the name given by the Romans to the region of Europe roughly corresponding to the modern Netherlands, home of the Batavian tribes. Since then it has been taken as the Latin name for that country.
- Jakarta, Batavia, Dutch East Indies, a Dutch settlement on the island of Java. It later became the capital of the Dutch East Indies colony
