The Bath Chronicle is a daily newspaper, published since 1760 in Bath, England.

It may have originally been published as the Bath Chronicle and Universal Register taking over from the Bath Advertiser which was published from 1755.[2]

It is owned by the Daily Mail newsgroup, and published as part of the Bath Newspapers Group.

It is a tabloid newspaper with a circulation of 12,749 (Jan-June 2006).[1]

The circulation reaches the population of Bath and the surrounding areas including parts of Wiltshire and Somerset.

Weekly and monthly supplements are produced including; The Business, Property, Drive, Bath Time, Jobs, Life & Soul, Bath Week, 7 Days

A Georgian Newspaper Project is developing a database which will contain information from the Bath Chronicle for the years 1770-1800.[3]
