The Bay Area Toros are a team of the Continental Baseball League, based in Texas City, Texas. The team is not affiliated with Major or Minor League Baseball but plays at the equivalent of the A-level minor leagues. The Toros represent the first minor league baseball team in the Houston metropolitan area since the 1970's. The team will move to Robinson Stadium in Texas City for the 2008 season after playing their freshman season in League City.
