Beaudesert Shire Council is a Local Government Area in south east Queensland, Australia. Covering an area of 2,854 km2, the shire stretches from the New South Wales border, along the Gold Coast hinterland to the urban fringes of the cities of Brisbane and Ipswich.[1] Beaudesert Shire had a population at the 2001 census of 52,614[2]

The administrative centre of the shire is the town of Beaudesert. Other towns in the shire include Canungra, Rathdowney, Tambourine Mountain, Kooralbyn, Jimboomba and Logan Village.

Beaudesert Shire is home to Lamington National Park.
