Beg for Mercy is the 2003 debut album from G-Unit. After the success of Get Rich or Die Tryin', 50 Cent was granted his own label, G-Unit Records, on which he signed Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Tony Yayo. As the album was recorded, however, Yayo was sentenced to jail on charges of gun possession, and so makes only two appearances on the entire record. Beg for Mercy sold 2.3 million in the U.S. and 4 million worldwide; the album has only one featured guest, singer, Joe.
