Susan "Belle" Taylor is a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away, portrayed by actress Jessica Tovey since early 2006.

Belle endured an overly-disciplined and controlling upbringing. As she became older, her parents were horrified that their daughter rejected their conservative lifestyle and associating with "the wrong crowd".

Although Belle is a daring, mischevious young girl, she is very insecure and craves the love and attention her parents never gave her. Belle believed that finding her birth mother would help her to find her place in the world.

When she arrived in Summer Bay, Belle lived in the bush for some weeks and was befriended by Ric Dalby (Mark Furze), who secretly brought her food after he realized that she had been stealing from his house. She then discovered that her birth mother was actually her mortal enemy Amanda Vale (Holly Brisley). Amanda, who had been told by her mother (Belle's grandmother) that her child had died at birth, was thrilled when Belle eventually accepted her. This did not last, as Amanda gave in to temptation and began an affair with Belle's boyfriend, Drew Curtis (Bobby Morley). Belle disowned both of them.

Over time, Belle came to forgive her mother. She was dating Lucas Holden (Rhys Wakefield), but is now dating Drew and attends Summer Bay High School.

In January 2007, Belle was kidnapped by Amanda's psychotic sister, Kelli (Alexa Ashton). Her location was then discovered by Peter Baker who saved her.
