Ben Hill (Atlanta)

Ben Hill is a neighborhood in the southwestern part of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Ben Hill is a predominantly black community with many black-owned businesses. Greenbriar Mall is the most recognizable figure in this community. The skating ring from the movie 'ATL' is based off the historic Cascade Family Skating Rink located in this community.

Originally called Mount Gilead Cross Roads, the town changed its name in 1880 to honor Whig Senator Benjamin Hill.[1] Cascade Skating Ring is located in Adamsville a town located as well in Atlanta, Ga. not Ben Hill. The movie ATL told the story of the all time Jelly Bean Skating Ring which was located in Ben Hill. Cascade Skating is not located in Ben Hill but as stated in Adamsville. Jelly Bean has went out but however still remains Atlanta's top Skating Rings of all time. Jelly Bean is remembered as "The Master Of All Roller Rings" in Atlanta. With Cascade Skating Ring following behind. Jelly Bean is the Roller Ring that put Ben Hill on the map.
