Bent Out of Shape is an LP issued by Rainbow in 1983. The CD version released at the time featured several longer edits compared to the vinyl version. A remastered CD reissue was released in May 1999.

This album is usually pointed at reviews as a commercial effort [Link] [Link 2] made by the band, which tried to repeat the success obtained with the song "I surrender" and the album Difficult to Cure. Due to this fact, some of the songs, like the first single released from this album, "Street of Dreams", are usually considered to be more in the AOR style, instead of the Hard Rock sound of earlier Rainbow albums.

  1. "Stranded" (Blackmore/Turner) – 4:29
  2. "Can't Let You Go" (Blackmore/Turner, intro: by Rosenthal) – 4:24
  3. "Fool For The Night" (Blackmore/Turner) – 4:04
  4. "Fire Dance" (Blackmore/Turner/Glover/Rosenthal) – 4:30
  5. "Anybody There" (Blackmore) – 2:44
  6. "Desperate Heart" (Blackmore/Turner) – 4:37
  7. "Street Of Dreams" (Blackmore/Turner) – 4:28
  8. "Drinking With The Devil" (Blackmore/Turner) – 3:44
  9. "Snowman" (Howard Blake, arr. by Blackmore) – 4:33
  10. "Make Your Move" (Blackmore/Turner) – 5:25
