Big is the fourth studio album by American R&B/soul singer Macy Gray. It is her first new album in four years. It was released on March 27, 2007.
The album leaked to the Internet on March 14, 2007. Following its release, it debuted and peaked at number thirty-nine on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 23,000 copies in its first week.[1] It was Gray's first studio album to be notified as parental advisory, although packaging doesn't contain a sticker.
Two singles have so far been released from the album, the international first single "Finally Made Me Happy", a duet with Natalie Cole, and the North American single "Shoo Be Doo". "What I Gotta Do" features on the Shrek the Third soundtrack. Music from this album was also featured in the I Love New York season one reunion.
One of the reasons that this album met a big success was the fact that its cover was widely illustrated on Apple iPhone's commercials.[citation needed]
