Bobby Jones Gospel (sometimes called The Bobby Jones Gospel Hour) is a program on Black Entertainment Television that airs on Sunday mornings at 9:00E/8:00C. The show is hosted by gospel legend Dr. Bobby Jones. The show premiered on BET in 1980 around the same time that the station had launched into the television airwaves. It features the popular names as well new or unknown gospel artists and musicians such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, and more that perform songs and performance. As of December 2006, the show is BET's longest running program, staying on the air for 26 years.
