Bob (or Bobby) Morley (born 20 December 1984, Kyneton, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian actor.
He is half-Filipino on his mother's side. He currently plays the role of Drew Curtis on the Seven Network drama series Home and Away (see also, here). He has appeared in several stage plays in Australia and prior to Home and Away he appeared in the horror film, Dead Harvest. He appeared in the second series of It Takes Two from May 2007. On Tuesday 12th June 2007, he was voted off It Takes Two after six weeks on the show even though he received his highest score since being on the show.
Born on December 20, 1984, Bobby went to school in Kyneton, a small country town in Victoria. There he did drama all the way through to Year 11, until he was kicked out! “I was a bit of a brat,” he says with a grin. “I’d turn up to class and not have done the homework, but I’d perform and I’d get away with it. I was drama captain of the senior school but I was probably the worst academic student in drama department, so they didn’t really want me to be an example to other students.”
After graduating from high school, Bobby did half a year of geological engineering at uni before deciding to get back into acting and pursue it as a professional career. He started a degree in Creative Arts at La Trobe University in Melbourne, secured himself an agent and started doing extra classes. He is dating his co-star Jessica Tovey who plays his onscreen girlfriend Belle Taylor, they confirmed this in an interview with TV Week. Bobby is leaving Home and Away in 2008.
