Boonah Shire Council is a Local Government Area in south east Queensland. The shire includes the towns of Aratula, Kalbar, Mount Alford, Roadview, Warrill View and the administrative centre, Boonah.

The shire is part of the "Scenic Rim", a group of mountain ranges forming part of the Great Dividing Range. Boonah Shire contains four national parks;
